My Wellness Tool Kit
My favorite resources, tips and products that have supported me most along my journey
In last week’s Sunday Wellness Newsletter, I shared my personal health journey—how I’ve supported my body in balancing hormones, healing my gut, putting my autoimmune disease into remission, lowering inflammation, losing weight, and reducing stress. I’m excited to follow up on that newsletter with a glimpse into my wellness toolkit—the practical resources that have supported me throughout my journey.
Of course, healing isn’t linear. I’m not “healed”—and truly, none of us ever are. We’re always evolving, shifting with life’s seasons and experiences and striving to feel our best along the way.
Some rituals, tools, and practices may deeply support us at one point in our lives, only to fall away later as something new takes their place. What once felt nourishing might no longer serve, and that’s okay.
Wellness isn’t static—it’s fluid, responsive, and highly personal.
Today, I’m sharing a collection of my favorite tips, resources, and products—things that have supported me over the years. Some of them are still part of my daily rhythm; others I reach for when needed.
I offer them with the understanding that healing is never one-size-fits-all, but in the hope that something here might resonate with you—if not now, maybe someday.
Take what serves you. Leave what doesn’t.
The goal is to build your own wellness toolkit—a personal collection of practices, habits, and rituals to lean on as life ebbs and flows. Some tools will become daily companions. Others may sit on the shelf, waiting for the moment they’re needed.
They’re here to support you—but they’re not crutches. You are your own best guide.
We would love to hear from you—what’s in your wellness toolkit? Share in the comments below ❤️

🧘♀️ Acupuncture
I’ve shared a bit about my experience with acupuncture before, but it’s truly been a game changer for me—especially when it comes to hormone regulation and stress reduction. The benefits are profound, and it continues to be one of the most powerful practices I’ve found on my healing journey.
If you’re curious to try it, I’m sharing a few of my favorite practitioners below for those of you in NYC or Boston.

❤️ Perspective Coaching & Holistic Therapy
I believe that the root of most illness, dysfunction, and discomfort—whether physical or mental—is rooted in emotion.
What are we holding in?
What are we bracing for?
What are we resisting or running from?
When we’re stuck in a constant state of fight or flight, always moving but never pausing to ask why, we can end up living a life that feels completely disconnected from who we really are. Years go by, and suddenly we’re in the wrong job, surrounded by the wrong people, prioritizing things that don’t align with our truth.
This disconnection doesn’t just weigh on us emotionally—it manifests physically, too.
I’ve been working with the same holistic therapist since I was 14, and that journey has shown me over and over again the interconnectedness between emotional & physical healing.
Healing starts with slowing down, getting curious, and doing the inner work. Lean in. Start asking the deeper questions. That’s where true alignment—and wellness—begins. Here are a few of my favorite healers 💛

🩺 Naturopaths & Wellness Guides
Our traditional medical system is acute and reactive—it treats conditions in silos. Traditional medicine is incredible for emergencies and short-term care, but it wasn’t built—nor is it intended—to address the chronic conditions that are a product of our modern lifestyle. It’s amazing if you break a bone, but not so amazing if your hormones are out of balance or your skin keeps breaking out. In those cases, you’ll likely be handed a prescription—and that’s that.
But we need to ask: Why are our hormones out of balance? Why are we tired all the time? Why does our skin keep breaking out?
And often, the reason for our breakouts has nothing to do with our skin.
Functional medicine goes deeper. It looks for the underlying dysfunction driving your symptoms and helps you adjust your lifestyle to heal at the root.
That’s true healing.
No band-aids.
Here are some of the healers i’ve worked with and continue to work with.

📚 Books
Physical, emotional, and spiritual. Here are a few I find myself coming back to again and again.
You Can Heal Your Life - How your thoughts and beliefs can lead to physical illness.
A Return to Love - How accepting and expressing love in our daily lives leads to deep inner peace and fulfillment.
Daring Greatly - How the courage to be vulnerable transforms the way we live.
When the Body Says No - Exploring the stress-disease connection and how emotion is often the root of illness.
The Untethered Soul - Understanding the relationship between your thoughts and emotions—and how your consciousness is the awareness behind them.
Stop Missing Your Life - Learning to be present in the good, the bad, and the uncertain—so we experience our lives instead of missing them.
The Hidden Messages in Water - How the influence of our thoughts, words, and feelings can positively impact the earth and our personal health.
A Gentle Reminder - A comforting hug for when you feel lonely, lost, or scared—words that make things that don’t make sense, make sense.
Outlive - An overview of the key pillars influencing our longevity and health—so we can not just prolong life, but also prolong aliveness.
Beyond the Pill - How to take care of your body when coming off the pill and balance your hormones without birth control.
PRODUCTS
Oura Ring - I track my steps (aiming for 12K a day), am more diligent about sleep, monitor my stress, adjust my schedule around recovery, and sync the data to Natural Cycles for hormone-free birth control.
Natural Cycles - We do not need to take synthetic hormones to prevent pregnancy. Even better—we can learn about our bodies, support them, regulate our cycles, protect our long-term health, and feel empowered to prevent pregnancy through knowledge and awareness. This is a game changer for women’s health and pivotal to my healing journey.
Magnesium Glycinate - Two before bed for deep, relaxed and restful sleep.
Air filter - It’s hard to heal when we keep putting toxins in. Filtering our air to remove pollutants, allergens, viruses, and bacteria is critical to supporting our bodies as they heal and work to keep us healthy.
Shower Filter, Drinking Water Filter & Water Bottle with Filter - Our drinking and shower water is often not clean and can expose us to a sea of toxins. Filtering your water—just like your air—is critical to reducing toxin exposure. For example, a 2019 peer-reviewed study by EWG scientists found that contaminants in U.S. drinking water could contribute to more than 100,000 cancer cases nationwide. Check the status of your water here!
Non-Toxic Cleaning Products - Conventional cleaning products are full of harmful chemicals, including ammonia, bleach, PFASs, phthalates, VOCs, and more. Exposure to these chemicals has been linked to reproductive issues, developmental harms, infertility, cancer, hormone disruption, microbiome disruption, and impaired immunity. We can’t heal our bodies if we keep putting toxins in. The best part? There are amazingly effective natural products that work just as well—without compromising our health.
Weighted Blanket - Cozy, comforting and amazing for easing anxiety and stress.
Chomps & NuttZo - Fat and protein have helped me tremendously on my journey to balancing my hormones. These two have consistently been my favorite sources of these two macronutrients because they taste as good as they make me feel!
Dandelion Root Tea & Milk Thistle - Both support your body’s natural detox system. Your liver is your body’s primary filtration system and metabolizes hormones, pharmaceuticals, toxins, and alcohol. When I was working to detox excess estrogen and balance my hormones—especially after coming off the birth control pill—both dandelion root tea and milk thistle were key.
Credo & Detox Market - Clean beauty is so important! Traditional beauty products are full of harmful chemicals, including endocrine disruptors, which make it difficult for our hormones to stay balanced and function optimally. I buy most of my skincare, makeup, haircare, and personal care products from Credo and The Detox Market to ensure they’re clean and free from harmful chemicals.
Eating Real Whole Foods - Wellness has become complicated and overwhelming. Should we be vegan, paleo, high-protein, low-carb, or keto? It doesn’t matter. Just eat real, whole foods—and I promise you’ll feel better.
